Box Out
WOW What a Blitz
Fell like a ton of bricks
One day it’s I would
The next it’s the blues
Like I haven’t felt
That many times
Now I remember why
That many times
Now I remember why
I’ve remember why
Drinking wine
Distorted I was
For quite a long while
Gosh Damn It was hard to smile
As the weather warms up
I contemplate
Do I move forward
Or stay here and wave
In my tub of Sorrow
It does me no good
I wonder how things are
Off Up in my old hood
I wonder if I’ll meet
The person I thought
Sure It didn’t work out
But I’ve kicked my shadow enough
It’s time to box out.
