Been A While Now
It’s been a while now
Since I sat on that fence
And I read some of the old ones
I sure pitched a fit
Back then I missed you
More than you’d ever know
I ran a search
That was the final blow
Been coaching and singing
Just as before
If I had seen that end coming
I’d a hugged you three more
I’m sure you’re doing fine
You always have
Honestly I’m waiting
To replace the love that I had
Just me.
